How to use Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 Program MX-Sensors

 This is a tech tip of how to use Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 to program four 433Mhz TPMS MX-Sensors for a 2005-2012 Lexus GS series at the same time.

Preparation
Put the 4 Autel MX-Sensors near TS508 tool.


Steps:

Advanced mode >> Lexus >> GS series >> 01/2005-12/2011(433Mhz)(GS32)



Program sensor >> Auto create 1-16 sensors

Keep programming sensor within 4 inches, start checking...




4 sensors detected. Do you want to continue? Press “Yes”.

4 sensors programming...

Programming successfully! Sensors information were display.

Today, we Auteldiag.com engineers has confirmed the immobilizer function of Autel MaxiCOM MK808! 

100% tested on a Toyota Lexus and ifs working.

Purpose: make an extra key
Car model :Toyota Lexus RX300 North America 1999
Tool option:Autel MaxiCOM MK808


This is a master key for the Toyota Lexus RX300, I’m gonna use the Autel MaxiCOM MK808 diagnostic scanner to make an extra key here. So let’s start:

Connect MK808 scanner to OBD2 port of Lexus,

Service >> Immo keys >> Lexus >> Manual selection >> RX300 >> North America >> 1999 >> Yes

    

 

Hot functions >> Auto remote match >> Immobilizer >> Transponder code registration

   

 

Use this function to register a new key code, press “OK”.

 

This function serves to register an immobilizer key.

Note: If any step exceeds the time limit, transponder code registration will fail. Press “Next”.

 

Remove the key from the key cylinder, insert a registered master key into the key cylinder and turn the ignition on. Select “Sub key” to register, press “Next”.

  

 

Remove the master key form the key cylinder within 20s, then press “Next” immediately.

 

Press “Next” after inserting a new key into the key cylinder within 10s.

 

Now registering...

 

Wait for about 70s...

 

Transponder code registration is completed. Press “Esc” to exit.

 

Now let’s test the new key, it should start the car. Alright, it start it up successfully.

 

 

As you can see, Autel MK808 key programmer does program a new key for Toyota Lexus RX300, key programming has done in 4 minutes.

Program VW new beetle 2006 id48 chip With Autel IM508

How to use Autel MaxiIM IM508 to program immobilizer key chip ID48 for a Volkswagen New Beetle 2006? you can learn step-by-step below:



Connect Autel IM508 with VW OBD2 interface, press button on scanner tablet:

IMMO >> Accept >> Volkswagen >> Expert mode >> Key learning >> Auto detect 

 

 

Volkswagen/Lamborghini Gallardo-2005 (KWP2000) >> Auto obtain PIN/CS from engine >> OK >> Key learning

Enter number of keys to be learned, press “OK”.



Turn ignition off for 5s and then back to ON, press “OK” within 2s.



Key learning in progress...





Turn ignition off, insert each key that needs to be learned and turn ignition on for a continuous period of 2s, press “OK”.



Key learning completed!, press “OK”.



Turn ignition off, then back to ON and start the engine. If the ignition cannot be started, please wait for 5 min and then restart the engine. Press “OK”.





Test the keys works or not, all good, can work normally!

Autel MaxiPro MP808 Scan Tool, Good or not?

This is Autel MaxiPro MP808 diagnostic tool I just got 3 weeks, what comes with a sturdy kit including a normal OBD2 wire connector, 2 different plugs, a charger wire and a instruction inside. 

I would like to show a quick review with few features on Autel MP808 scanner.



There are 12 functions on main page: diagnostics, service, shop manager, data manager, settings, update, function viewer, support, academy, remote desk, quick link and MaxiFix. 

Update

As you can see, I’ve got 16 updates, so I’m going to show the update function first. Press the green tab there will automatically start downloading. It will automatically install as well. The Volkswagen and the rest vehicle models are what I am working on. You can select specific vehicle model you need to update. 

Service

let’s go out to check what are in the Service. Here are various maintenance service, including oil reset, EPB, TPMS, BMS, brake bleed, DPF SCR, immo keys, injector, SAS, suspension, throttle, WIN DR ROOF, seats, odometer, lang change, headlamp, CHG tire size, TEC learn , ABSSRS, cylinder, VGT learn, clutch, trans adaptation, airbag reset, A/F setting. 

Immo keys is the most often used function among them, I had used it to perform key programming on Ford Fiesta for a friend of mine. And it worked great, I didn’t have a problem with it at all, it was all straightforward to use.



I’ve used a couple of times to reset oil light and DPF, every time I’ve used them, they are always done. Really very convenience service for each mechanic.



Diagnostics

The green arrows means the vehicle models should be updated. What I like about this tool is the automatic detect function, which will automatically detect your vehicle VIN. Surely you can manual input the VIN as well if you wish to.



In the history page, there are sold vehicles you’ve scanned. You can select vehicle models from country or manufacturers. Such as Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, GM in US page. Let me manually select a 2008 1.8L Duratec HE/I4 Ford C-max for your reference.

Settings

You can change language, printing settings, firmware upgrade, WIFI settings or other system settings of Autel MP808 here.





Shop Manager

Vehicle history is where you can check vehicles you’ve already scanned before, it will record all fault codes on the vehicle.

Workshop information is to input your information when printing any reports.

Customer manager is to record your customer information.





Since I only use the Autel MP808 Scan Tool few times, but it actually done all the job for me. It is a 7 inch screen tablet with more features than I expected!
